One of the most fun parts of an Indian wedding is the sangeet and mehndi night. After all, it’s usually a laid back affair, filled to the brim with dancing, dancing, and more dancing! Plus, the air is buzzing with infectious anticipation for the big ceremony day ahead. We were completely awestruck by the beauty of Maharani Nupur as she prepped for her sangeet night. Her cerulean lehenga was a dream come true, and her beauty look created by Sana Rehman was perfection. Nupur’s doe eyes and bouffant ‘do embellished with a sparkling garland is such goals! After pinning her dupatta in place, Nupur met Digvy outside for a pre-sangeet photo shoot on Clearwater Beach. Olivia Markle Photography took a number of editorial worthy shots of the gorg duo that are instant framers! Inside the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa venue, the ballroom was filled with colorful decor artistically created by Dreams To Reality, with pops of pink, yellow and purple making the space glow. Tons of perfectly coordinated dance performances had Nupur and Digvy cheering in glee. Soon, the couple took center stage as Dhol Beat International performed his euphoric DJ beats. Here at Maharani Weddings, we adore beachside Indian weddings! With Spring right around the corner (finally!) we can’t get enough of soft white beaches, luminous sunshine, and swaying palm trees. Making us even happier than the pristine surroundings was witnessing gorgeous Maharani Nupur getting ready for her incredible series of events at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. We were left euphoric by each and every one of her couture level looks. We’ll begin by recapping her oceanside haldi ceremony, which was a super relaxed shindig. With the crashing waves of the ocean providing the serene soundtrack, this was an opportunity for Nupur to spend some time with her nearest and dearest as they had a blast dousing her with turmeric. She was dolled up in a natural beauty look by Sana Rehman, with a wavy, half updo that was simple elegance at its finest. Her marigold and maroon sari was the perfect combination of sparkle and laid back style. In our next post, we’ve dive into the couple’s bouncing sangeet celebration, where the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa venue was bedazzled in tones of pinks and purples by Dreams To Reality, with musical beats provided by Dhol Beat International. I am ready, are you? I am so ready to pack my bags and head to Punta Cana where I left my heart at Tahmina and Nick's fusion Indian wedding at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa. It's these types of Indian weddings where all my gratitude falls in the photographer's hands, and Shayan Fotography has brought me a wedding that has left my eyes just oh so watery. The bride and groom wed in an outdoor beach setting that was the most sublime setting for their love. Add in the thrills of a beach and warm sand, and you got yourself the most magical setting to start your lives together. I love how the bride opted to bring in a Mini Maharaja to walk her down the aisle. Truly this Prince is one that has captured this Maharanis heart to no oblivion. Instead of overly adorning the ceremony space, the couple let the natural beauty of the beach shine. One thing I love about destination Indian weddings is the ability to get away. The ability to get lost in all the sand, sight seeing, and being able to witness the joyous union of my loved ones. It really doesn't get any better any than this. Such is the story of Tahmina and Nick who shared their love at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa. Get ready folks, we are about to give you some major vaca vibes! The morning of her big day, the bride took in some personal shots of her getting ready with Shayan Fotography. Seeing the bride getting ready is one of the most personal and coveted events in Indian weddings. It truly is in the process and this bride was glowing to perfection. Tahmina and Nick chose the epitome of luxury by securing the most magical setting for starting their lives together. Get ready for a dose of love! We have the gallery waiting for you!

Are you ready for the continuation of the love story of the two M's, Meryl-Lyn and Mathew? KSD Weddings has truly captured the beautiful simplicity of Greentree Country Club located on the beach in New York. We believe that the wonderful wedding photos from the reception will look amazing over the fire pit and will be enjoyed for years to come. Floral and decor were brought to life by Janet King who did a marvelous job matching the feng shui of the venue with magnificent color combinations and divine design. We love the tall vases at the reception that were filled with orchids and floating candles bringing the nautical ambiance from the beach indoor. Even though the venue shinned with glamour, there was still space for celebrating and lots of dancing! Props, such as hats and masks, were further made available for the guests. The brides sparkling, two piece red and gold lehenga looked like a dream come true on the dance floor and Meryl-Lyn's dance partner for life couldn't take his eyes of her. DJ USA tunes created a lively, though romantic atmosphere throughout the event. We hope you will enjoy our full gallery from their big day!
