Loveland, OH Indian Wedding by Image N Motion Studio

We were dazzled as we entered the Oasis Golf Club & Conference Center venue, and are so excited to share every single joyous part of Roshni and Bhavesh’s Indian wedding event. Some highlights from this special weekend were the decadent wedding lenghas, jewelry sets and gorgeous mandap! Roshni and Bhavesh’s love story was brimming with all sorts of sweetness and after the duo’s first date, sparks were flying, and here we are unveiling all the details of their lavish wedding! There’s not a moment to miss, and luckily Image N Motion Studio was there to capture every magical detail. The masterful floral and decor team from Elegance Decor created a blush mandap and stage set up that was the stuff of fairy tale dreams. The bride was a ray of light in a raspberry lehenga and golden accessories that had us swooning. Her bridal beauty look by Looks by Jassi was the height of chicness. After the palla was pinned in place by Looks by Jassi, it was time for Roshni to wow her guests. She floated down the candle and petal strewn aisle under an intricately draped canopy to her elated Raja. We have all the ceremony snaps by Image N Motion Studio in our full gallery for your perusal. Coming up next is the lovely reception gala with entertainment by Sky Vision Events and music by JP Entertainment.

Mahwah, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Hugo Juarez Photography

We return to Pooja and Dang’s star-studded delight planned by Pearls Event & Co., and we are cheering with joy for this lovely couple from Mahwah, NJ. We wrap up the sensational weekend with the reception held at the Sheraton Mahwah. Hugo Juarez Photography was there to capture every perfect moment. After the traditional Hindu vows and elaborate Chinese Tea Ceremony, it was time for the vivacious couple to get ready for the reception! The bride was adorned with a champagne gown with all the right golden trimmings while Dang looked dapper as could be in a fitted tux. The couple slipped on their dancing shoes, and were ready to sashay the night away with DJ Vik Events blasting out the perfect playlist. It’s no surprise that there was a jam packed dance floor all night! A colossal wedding cake whipped up by Chocal8Kiss took center stage in the room. To make the evening even more special was the nature reception theme and tree planting ceremony, since the event fell on Earth Day. Rangoli Weddings created lavish ambiance incorporating breathtaking natural elements, including mysterious vines, vibrant foliage, and luscious blooms. What an elegant event and adorable duo. You won’t want to miss a beat, so head into the full gallery for all the beautiful wedding details captured by Hugo Juarez Photography.

Mahwah, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Hugo Juarez Photography

Hi Maharanis! We’re thrilled to take you into Pooja and Dang’s joyous fusion Indian and Chinese ceremony from Mahwah, NJ planned to perfection by Pearls Event & Co. Our jaws dropped when we saw the photos of Pooja readying herself for her big day. Talk about a drop dead gorgeous bride! She was a complete doll from the top her embroidered red dupatta to the bottom of her sparkly heels. Makeup and hair gurus from Marissa Pascone worked their magic to create a bombshell wedding look complete with bouffant hair, glittering eye makeup, and ruby red lips. After Pooja snuck up playfully behind her handsome Raja Dang, the duo posed for epic portraits with their elated bridal party. By the time guests took their seats at the Sheraton Mahwah decked out to the nines by Rangoli Weddings, the anticipation in the room was at an all time high. Pooja finally floated into the room, and the couple’s Indian ceremony was magical. Next up was the Chinese Tea Ceremony, where the couple wore ornate, traditional Chinese garb and looked like a match made in heaven as they slipped rings on one other’s fingers. When the dynamic duo were pronounced husband and wife, their smiles were infectious, and guests couldn’t wait to really let loose and celebrate further at their reception with entertainment by DJ Vik Events. You don’t want to miss all the action in our next post - The newlyweds and their crew are such a lively bunch! In the meantime, peruse the full gallery by the amazing Hugo Juarez Photography.

Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by Hiram Trillo Photography

Before Sonal and Parth’s Indian wedding ceremony began at the Hyatt Regency Dallas, hearts were fluttering and anticipation was buzzing as the adorable duo prepared for the most important moment of their lives. Maharani Sonal’s Haldi ceremony was a delightful event filled with lighthearted laughter and a chance for loved ones to have some fun with the bride before the main event! Sonal couldn’t have been more stunning for her Haldi celebrations in mustard sari, rainbow bright blouse, and bold, geometric jewels. Her elegant updo by Ms. Painted Lady was the perfect style to keep her hair off her face as she was covered from head to toe in turmeric. The faces of her parents and bridesmaids as she was adorned in haldi were just so precious. It is obvious how deeply this beauty is adored by all! Hats off to the planning and design team from K.I. Weddings for ensuring every detail went off without a hitch. Head over to our Main Blog, where with love and excitement Sonal and Parth became husband and wife. In the meantime, hurry over to the full gallery by Hiram Trillo Photography for all of the glorious photographs. And for all the inside scoop from the Main Maharani herself, scroll below for our interview with Sonal!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

It all began in January of 2016 when I thought I would be attending Parth's boss' surprise baby shower. I received an invitation from Parth's colleague with the "baby shower" details - April 9, 2016 at Ink 48 in NYC. When the day arrived, we were greeted in the lobby of Ink 48 and told to make our way to the Penthouse where the baby shower would take place. I was so distracted by the baby shower signs that I had no idea what was about to happen! Minutes later, Parth opened the door to a breathtaking view of the city, thousands of roses, and a photographer snapping away.

In the distance, I saw two crystal champagne glasses, a bottle of champagne, and a table full of pictures and rose petals. Parth walked me over to the table, got down on one knee, and popped the question! Of course I said Yes! We then made our way to dinner, where I thought it would just be the two of us. As we walked to our table both of their families were anxiously waiting. I was so happy Parth was able to get my parents and brother to make it all the way from Texas. The day was absolutely perfect!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

We decided to work with K.I. Weddings in order to make our planning process easier. We can’t thank them enough for making our planning experience such a pleasure. For the most part, we already knew which vendors we wanted to work with. Each one of vendors played an important part during our special weekend and we were satisfied with each and every one of them.

Venue: Hyatt Regency Dallas

Amy was terrific to work with and made sure every request we had was accommodated. I cannot think of a time she did not go above and beyond to get us what we wanted.

Hair & Make-up: Ms. Painted Lady

Alex was amazing! She is the best in the industry and made sure I had a different look for each event. During the weeks leading up to the wedding she was accessible and helped me create the perfect look.

Décor: Prashe

Prashe is in a league of her own. The creativity she brought to the table was unparalleled. We were going for a modern yet classy look and she helped us achieve that. No event looked the same and she was able to create a wow factor each time our guests walked into each room.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

I wanted a traditional lengha and visited a few stores until I was able to find the perfect one. My dad actually was the one to pick out my lengha and that’s when I knew it was the one. I wanted to make sure the lengha was red and gold to ensure it had a traditional feel.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?

Our guest had nothing but great things to say about the wedding which meant the world to us. There were actually a few things that stood out which were brought up to Parth and I from our guests.

Food – This is one of the most important things at a wedding. Guests love to see that you have a variety of dishes and want to enjoy each meal. Thankfully, Gopal Vegetarian Restaurant and Maharaja Indian Restaurant created a variety of dishes that our guests loved.

Décor – Our guests absolutely loved our décor and were impressed each time they walked into an event. Prashe made our vision a reality. We wanted a unique look for our wedding and reception and she was able to turn the room inside out to make it happen. Our wedding included traditional colors (red, ivory, gold, and green) with a modern open mandap, patterned aisle, and tons of candles. After the wedding, Prashe and her team were able to flip the room into a modern/edgy look with tons of mirrors, patterned dance floor, and a bar with the DJ elevated on top.

Music – We hired a live band (Medley Entertainment) and flew them down from NY for our Garba. Many of our guests had not seen this before and were very impressed. Additionally, we also worked with a DJ company called Premier Entertainment who is also based out of NY. Most of our guests were from the northeast and they loved the music that was played throughout our events.

Photo/Video – We used Hiram Trillo Photography and Epique Cinemas. Our guests said Hiram was extremely patient and was amazing to work with. He was great with the family and made sure we got the shots we wanted. Our guests were also in love with the same-day highlight video that was played during our reception. It was the perfect way to recap the weekend and we’ve received so many compliments on how great it turned out.

Venue – Our guests were impressed with the size of the venue as well as each of the ballrooms we held events in. Our coordinator was able to ensure we had a different room for each of our venues, which was important to us. The guests were extremely satisfied with the check-in process and the hospitality of the hotel staff.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?

The most important piece of advice I can give any future brides is to live in the moment. Try not to get caught up in all the details and try to enjoy the planning process and wedding for what it is. This is a once in a lifetime experience and it will go by extremely fast. Everyone thinks they have a lot of time once the planning begins, but before you know it, your wedding day has arrived. We had 5 events in 3 days, but it felt like each event flew by. Try and enjoy the weekend as much as possible!

Have a beautiful weekend!
