St. Louis, MO Indian Wedding by Memories Are Forever

We welcome you with open arms to Sakshi and Rashank’s Indian wedding celebration where each element was carefully planned and expertly executed by the bride herself. There are so many enthralling moments of this fairly tale wedding that I am having a hard time spilling all the deets, but the most personable aspect was the bride’s jewelry. Sakshi’s handcrafted jewelry was a tribute to her heritage. Sakshi’s Mausi and Nani custom designed each intricate, minute detail of this showpiece. The Tilra , a Mathur khandan traditional Kundan jewelry piece, is embellished in pearl with setting in 22K Gold and Meenakari. Sakshi was adorned with delicate strands of Tilra, proudly displaying her Mathur heritage.  Her Chunri, Payals, Bichiya and Bangles were a customary token of love of Mama & Mami. Did you miss the gorgeous details? Click here for all the Indian Wedding highlights! Sakshi’s fashion couture spilled into her wedding reception where the bride chose to celebrate in a riveting, slate grey floor length anarkali at the Marriott St. Louis Airport. DJ Blaze Raj Singh turned up the speakers for the slow dance as “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” serenaded the guests and created a special moment in the father and daughter dance. The entire venue was designed with decor perfection by Fatima Dalal of Fatima Designs and the blush pink drapings paired with ivory iron wrought pillars was an impressive setup. I can absolutely tell how much heart was put into this traditional Indian wedding with a blend of Mathurs and Kashmiri customs & traditions. And, we have all the heartfelt moments in our gallery shot by Memories Are Forever.

St. Louis, MO Indian Wedding by Memories Are Forever

Welcome to the very first (and many) Platinum Guide blogs of 2018! Sakshi and Rashank’s Indian wedding celebration gracefully shares your space today and we are beyond thrilled to spill the details of this fairy tale wedding. This couple is the epitome of childhood friendships that bloomed into something more as Sakshi met her future Maharaja in middle school. But as fate would have it, it was at Rashank’s housewarming party many years later that their love fully developed. And soon, it was time to plan the big event! Sakshi had always dreamed of being a Sabyasachi bride and when she wandered into a boutique shop, her heart fell in love with one of the designer’s original pieces. A striking red and gold lengha with antique zardosi hand embroidered in brocade with stone and bead work was the only trousseau this bride had her eyes on for her Indian wedding. And, she looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle after being dolled up by her makeup artists. The indoor quarters of the Marriott St. Louis Airport was decked out by Fatima Designs who ensured that each corner of the venue was sparkling with traditional charm. Captured by the lens of Memories Are Forever the everlasting memories from this very special Indian wedding tucked away in our gallery.

Chicago, IL Indian Wedding by Shalin Photo

Shivani and Chirag’s Indian wedding reception was a super personalized, family oriented celebration, and we’re swooning over every detail. It’s obvious that this duo put a ton of creativity and hard work into making this weekend like no other. That innovative vision extended to the fab fashions evident throughout the weekend, including Shivani’s reception ensemble in which the gorg bride glowed in shades of blue. Her voluminous, one-shouldered gown was a sartorial delight, and she looked like an absolute goddess! Dapper Chirag also looked fantastic in a perfectly tailored tux. JD Event Design transformed the ballroom of the beautiful Hyatt Regency Schaumburg with glamorous touches, including enormous floral centerpieces and a decadent sweetheart stage. Such a masterpiece. The ambiance, food, and entertainment were perfection and thrilled the couple’s nearest and dearest. We’re loving the bright smiles of all the lovebirds’ family and friends in each and every pic. You don’t want to miss on all the amazingly inspirational moments, so get lost in all the jaw dropping snaps in our gallery captured by Shalin Photo.

Chicago, IL Indian Wedding by Shalin Photo

Here at Maharani Weddings, we adore the opportunity to relive a couple’s special day. We’re blown away by Shivani and Chirag’s matrimonial soiree. It possessed oodles of pizzazz and charm, and we’re loving every precious snap by Shalin Photo. Shivani and Chirag’s ceremony took place at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, where guests had a fantastic time mingling throughout the spacious quarters. Shivani reigned supreme in a burgundy and cream lehenga with glittering kundan jewelry and a gorgeous, floral adorned updo. Her fragrant blooms and twinkling jewels most certainly made an impression on Chirag during the outdoor first look. We adore a couple’s first look since it always contains some of most treasured moments of the day. JD Event Design waved their magic decor brush and transformed the ballroom into pure elegance. Colorful blooms, a red and ivory mandap and golden chiavari chairs added a special glow to the room that any bride would be elated to walk down in. The traditional vows and moving rituals really brought on the waterworks and guests were wiping their tears at the thought of this beloved twosome finally tying a knot. Get lost in all the pretty moments with our curated gallery by Shalin Photo because this is one wedding you don’t want to miss. When we return, we’ll dive into all the ceremonial action!
