Happy Thursday, beautiful ones! Some time ago, we had a celebration that we loved for so many reasons. One of them was the bride's stunning fashion sense, definitely a real Maharani treat! In case you would like to relive the beautiful featured film, you can double-check it here. Today, and thanks to our friends from Lightyear Studio, who never fail to impress, we have the picture gallery that as you probably expect, was total bliss. Juhi & Vinnie's vision was just something out of a fairy tale book, I tell you that! Everything just seemed to fall in its right place and what can be more romantic than that? We are so excited to be able to share their huge milestone moment with you, ladies, so you can't miss this. We know what you are thinking. Who was in charge of that stunning mehndi design on the bride? The fine talent from Mehndikalogie, of course. We know about the quality of their work, and we go a long way back with them so be sure that if finesse is what you seek, then you totally have it with their designs. So, ladies, time to get those ideas going! Let's go!
How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met through mutual friends and our first date was on December 21, 2015 (hard to forget especially because he got it engraved on my engagement ring). Since he was from Philly and I was from NJ I planned our first date. We were supposed to go to Maggianos in Bridgewater but of course, I got lost and couldn’t find it. He had to end up sending me his location, but hey the date lasted 8 hours. After dinner, we went bowling, followed by a diner. Honestly, I knew he was the one, day one. He had this charisma to him, he took my breath away. I was like who is this guy and where has he been my whole life. A year and a half later we were engaged!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
So Vinnie told that we had someone’s proposal to attend to. We were supposed to hide somewhere with the rest of his friends as one of his other friends proposed. Mind you this was at 8 AM, I thought to myself why in the world is this guy proposing to his girl this early, does he want her to say yes?! I was told that this was going down at the eagle rock reservation. That morning Vinnie tells me the proposal venue changed to a place in Paterson. I go “who the heck proposes in Paterson what’s there?". We get to this beautiful waterfall, like a mini Niagra Falls. I see balloons that said MARRY ME, he even points to it and goes to look at the decor! We approach a table and I said I don’t think this is the right spot and started walking the other way, but he pulls my hand back towards him and went down on his knees. I was absolutely shocked!! Love this guy
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
So I actually had in my head to get an all red and gold lengha for the wedding and that is all I kept trying on. Vinnie actually was with me (I needed his opinions). He finally suggests that I try on other styles and colors as well. I started doing that and started trying on other outfits. I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful white and red lengha!
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
If I’m being totally honest, the only part of wedding planning I enjoyed was food tasting! It was the least stressful party of wedding planning lol
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My wedding entrance! It was the happiest and most overwhelming moment of my whole life. I was walking towards my future husband. The feeling is totally unexplainable and even though my eyes were filled with happy tears, I wouldn’t change that moment for anything.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Take breaks, make lists and A LOT of them. At every event take a moment and observe everything and everything around you because I promise you it goes by so fast. Most of all BREATHE!
More gorgeous wedding moments coming up.
