Cedar Creek, TX South Indian Wedding by SB Image Studios

After the heartfelt nuptials, the reception hall of The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa awaited! The place was at its very best to house the gala and no less was expected! We know that when a Maharani ties the knot, everything has to be totally beaming. To assist with such a task, the newlyweds recruited the planning and design skills of our friends from K.I. Weddings, who as we already know, deliver fully every time. Such a flair! We were also particularly stoked with Nehal & Sagar's fashion choices. For both ceremony and reception, their style and sophistication were just out of this world! So beautiful! Ladies, there is a lot to look at in today's gallery coming to us thanks to SB Images Studios. Be sure not to miss part two of this unique celebration of love! Let's get to it!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Our story begins in the amazing and windy city of Chicago. I (Sagar the Groom) was at the medical school and studying for my step 1 medical licensing exam. I was studying at a coffee shop near my apartment in University Village. I noticed a girl (Nehal-Bride) sitting 3 tables across from me. She was wearing a thick University of Michigan sweatshirt, black tights, big glasses with red frames. Her hair untidy and seemed like she just woke up out of bed to study. I noticed one of the books she had was entitled "USMLE Step 1" (A book I was way too familiar with). At this moment, this girl looked up and our eyes met. I immediately looked down into my books. "Wow, what a nerd!", I thought to myself as I turned the page. In retrospect, this was when I first experienced her amazing smile.

A week later, I decided to change up the location where I would study that day. I decided to study at a Starbucks near Roosevelt and Wabash Ave (Near Nehal's apartment). As I was settling in and took out all my books, I noticed a beautiful girl studying across from me. She had long, smooth, and straighten black hair. She had mesmerizing, BIG, brown eyes without glasses. She was wearing jeans and a short top. At that moment, this beautiful girl looked up and smiled at me. I smiled back. In the next few hours, of what I hardly can call studying, I thought of conversations in my mind and ways to approach her. After finally coming up with enough courage, I walked to her table and introduced myself. After a few minutes of talking, she said that she already met me once before. I laughed and said that it was impossible, "I'd remember meeting someone with a beautiful smile like yours." Then, I realized that this was the same smile I saw a week ago. We laughed and talked hours more. It would make sense that our first date would be at a coffee shop where our eyes first met.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The Proposal: Nehal (the Bride) loves solving puzzles. I (Sagar-The Groom) created Scavenger Hunt made up of personalized clues and puzzles consistent with insider jokes and past happy memories. After a long day and many glasses of wine later, she figured out that each clue contributed to a final message "Will you marry me?" She turned around and found me down on one knee.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I went to India and after 3 days of searching, I finally found my dress.  I found a designer and had my dress created; Anu creations. I have an off-white and green dress.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Most enjoyable part of planning was cake tasting and food tasting. So much good food.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guest really enjoyed our dessert table. We had Indian desserts, cake, cakiciles, macaroons, but our favorite was Thai Style Rolled Ice Cream station. We had a line from the time the dessert station opened to when it closed.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

Cedar Creek, TX South Indian Wedding by SB Image Studios

Friday is already here, ladies, and so are we with another feature! This time, we set sail to Cedar Creek in Texas for Nehal & Sagar's gorgeous wedding vision! The gala was filled to the brim with everything we love about Indian weddings, but also, with that strikingly elegant South Asian twist! So romantic! You also know that we love everything bridal fashion related, and when we have a bride like Nehal rocking that gorgeous sea green/ivory-toned wonder, all we can do is admire it in awe. We can quickly see this combination become a trend, I tell you that! So chic to say the least! Our friends from SB Image Studios truly outdid themselves with today's gallery, and as we will see, the ceremony and reception were equally grand! And what about Raja Sagar's neat dark green and champagne attire? No wonder why our Maharani just fell for him! Ladies, this one is a no-miss, see you by the aisle!

Atlanta, GA Indian Wedding by MNK PRO

The big moment finally arrived, and The Atlanta Marriott Marquis was looking at its best for the gala! As we will see, our couple couldn't have chosen a better place for it! So exclusive! As you can imagine, a grand event like this one requires a lot more time and planning, that is why our lovebirds decided to bring Red and Gold Events on board, as the expertise they have in making dreamy wedding celebrations come true, is out of the question.  Maharani Samah, for the ceremony, came out looking heavenly with the classic burgundy bridal lengha with a gorgeous golden embroidery of various designs that left me in awe completely. Seriously, a glam queen! No wonder why Raja Umair fell head over heels for this beauty! And what does a Maharani and her prince need for their celebration to be a total success? You got it, music! And DJ Jaz- GTB Productions brought an absolute A list playlist to keep everyone entertained and dancing the night away! Such a romantic flair couldn't go unnoticed here in Maharani weddings, so here you have it, ladies, part two of today's gallery coming to us thanks to MNK PRO! Don't miss it!

Atlanta, GA Indian Wedding by MNK PRO

Hey there, beauty queens! It is Friday and in order to start the weekend the best way possible, we have a flair that will definitely leave you sighing. Atlanta was our host for Samah & Umair's lovely Indian wedding vision, and of course, the gala was an ode to style and sophistication. It had different cultural influences as well, going from the Muslim tradition to the South Indian wedding style! So amazing! Such a beautiful jubilee needed a planner that understood just how grand and important for a Maharani her wedding day is. Lucky for our couple, the team from Red and Gold Events was there to assist with the design of it and the result was a wedding for the books. You seriously can't miss this! Today's picture gallery comes to us thanks to the unmistakeably visual talent from MNK PRO, who never fails to impress! We know you, dolls, want only the best and with this wedding, be sure you have it. So, enough with words and let us get to the images of the lovely photoshoot! See you there!

Cambridge, MD South Indian Wedding by Photographick Studios

Hey there, Maharanis! Today it is our absolute pleasure to share with you Varsha & Dhruv's amazingly vivid and colorful vision for the most important day of their lives. The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort was the place that housed both the ceremony and reception and as we can already imagine, it was as grand and elegant as possible. The vibrancy between these two lovebirds left us totally sighing, just as much as their fashion choices. For the main ceremony, our Maharani Varsha rocked the house with a ruby-toned saree with details in marigold. Her youthful style truly stood out to us, I tell you that! So chic! To be able to keep that amount of glam during the rollercoaster of emotions that weddings are, you need a planner that can surely live up to the task. Project Bride DC was our couple's choice and what a choice that was! This gala has the right amount of inspiration and more, so, ladies, time to get pen and paper ready for our featured gallery of today's ideas, thanks to the amazing work of Photographick Studios.
