Eatontown, NJ Indian Wedding by Sachi Anand Photography

After sweethearts Madhavi and Bavesh got engaged at Princeton University, they started planning a wedding to remember! Full of celebration and tradition, their al fresco wedding was a lovely summer union at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel in Eatontown, NJ. This exclusive spot set the scene for a sacred wedding ceremony adorned by Abhishek Decorators with a charming Ganesh floral silhouette and white flowery strings. They also added a pop of color to the mandap with vibrant floral arrangements. After a morning of preparation, the couple met to exchange vows. Maharani Madhavi wowed with effortless grace! She opted for a stunning red lehenga and matching blouse specially brought from India by Megha & Jigar and draped and styled by Shiza Ahmed Makeup. Beforehand,  Mehndi by Anuja embellished the bride with an intricate mehendi design to complete the royal look. While Shiza Ahmed Makeup created her makeup with nude color eyeshadows and bold red lips that accentuated her natural beauty! Bavesh pulled off the ultimate Raja look! He was traditional and sophisticated in a three-piece sherwani with a golden coat, red trousers, and turban; he adorned with a jewelry piece. After the I do's, the couple welcomed their guests one more time at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel for a blissful bash! I love how JK Cakery created a lovely wedding cake featuring the couple's avatars in clay. Such a sweet detail! I am glad these two found a beachfront post-nuptial retreat for their wedding photos. Sachi Anand Photography's team captured the couple on this sandy beach and the outcome is perfect, so ladies, you can't miss this amazing wedding gallery! Congrats to the couple for creating and designing such an outstanding and special event!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met him on Hinge and knew he was the one on our second date.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
He proposed to me at Princeton University a week before my birthday.  He had plans to do propose at the lantern festival, but because of COVID the festival was canceled. He had limited options to surprise me, but it worked! He said he was taking me out for a birthday brunch, we took a walk after around the campus, and then he asked some strangers that were walking by to take a picture, but really he asked them to take a video.  He came up to me casually like let's take this picture but then started talking to me about how much he loved me and got down on his knee! It was just so perfect.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I mostly used Instagram to find all my vendors and plan our wedding.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I had been searching for a specific style of dress that was traditional red and gold but had some modern touches.  I ordered my dress online very shortly after I got engaged from India's pop-up, it was a Megha & Jigar Designer lehengha and thankfully, I ordered it when I did.  I heard of horror stories of packages not arriving from India during COVID, and a few people I know had to buy all new clothes from the USA last minute.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part was being able to bounce ideas off of my husband. He very much wanted to be a part of the planning process. At first, I found it annoying, but then I felt grateful that he valued the day as much as me.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Guests were very impressed with our venue and the food. We got married at the Sheraton Eatontown, NJ and the food was from Chowpatty.  We also got a lot of praise for our wedding photos, and I HIGHLY recommend her Sachi Anand Photography; she was the best! And so sweet!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Walking down the aisle, what a rush of emotions I definitely will never forget. You can only plan and control so much of what happens the weekend of your wedding.  What was told to me, and I am so thankful for, is the minute you start putting your Mehndi on or whatever your first event is, just let it go. Whatever planning you have done, it is going to come together, and if it doesn't do not stress about it.  Enjoy every minute of the wedding because it will FLY by and if we're lucky, it won't happen again, so be present in the moment and happy, it will be the best weekend of your life.

There are so many real weddings for you to get inspiration from! I hope to see you tomorrow.

Dallas, TX Indian Wedding by William Bichara Photography

Hello Maharanis! Welcome back to your uplifting inspiring wedding corner. Today we have the wonderful union of Preeya and Hardik, a beautiful couple that decided to tie the knot uniquely! These British-Texan lovebirds' big-day vision was to have a Sangeet/Garba instead of reception after the wedding and a Haldi on the wedding day morning! I love how rooted ceremonies and charming details bridged elegance with traditional beauty. Thankfully, Samaa Events by Samia planned and orchestrated this memorable celebration with their expertise. Brimming with colorful details and decorations, the Sangeet/ Raas Garba was a bright and joyful function. With family and friends coming from the US, India, and England, it was an excellent opportunity for everyone to mingle and share some good stories! A surprise dance performance opened the dance floor, and the festivity continued for hours as the DJ had everyone grooving and out of their seats the entire event. I am sure everyone loved it. Early the next day, their nearest and dearest rubbed the couple with Turmeric paste according to the tradition in an intimate Haldi ceremony ballroom decked in yellow hues and flowers that prepared them for the big moment a few hours later. Maharani Preeya mesmerized in red. She slipped into a fiery red lehenga with exquisite silver work while Brushonn by Alveena beautified her with a soft and flawless makeup look. Raja Hardik wore full white and entered the ceremony in the best Texan baraat style. In a pickup truck! I am sure there is nothing more Texan. DFW Hindu Temple was the place of worship these two picked to exchange vows. Decorated with a spectacular classic theme of red and white by Creative Wedding Decor and Events, this sacred spot showcased elegant drapery, floral arrangements, and a cozy candlelight backdrop. It was a real dream come true. With a philosophy of snapshots of raw beauty and timeless elegance William Bichara Photography presents an in-depth overview of this wedding affair through a series of captivating photos that are as unique as Preeya and Hardik's love! Visit our full gallery and get inspire by every image.

Jersey City, NJ Indian Wedding by PTaufiq Photography

It takes a village to plan a wedding! And a whole town to plan an Indian wedding! Indeed this was the case for Sapna and Ankit. This lovely duo worked with a troop of exceptional vendors that put together their wedding vision in Jersey City, New Jersey. Pearls Event and Co. was in charge of leading the vendors, planning, and executing this lavish affair. The striking functions started far before the main events with a wonderful party to greet all guests with a fun Yacht celebration that set the tone for the whole experience. A charming rooftop wedding ceremony followed the first function at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson. This elegant venue offered the iconic views of New York City's skyline and the Hudson River as the backdrop for the traditional ceremony and their photoshoot! Congrats to PTaufiq Photography for capturing the most incredible images of the newlyweds overlooking the Big Apple. Elegant Affairs worked their magic and created a ceremony decor that featured a monumental mandap structure complemented with stunning florals in burnt sienna and golden details. Later, the lovebirds hosted their guests in an indoor space for a night of festivity with everyone in black tie attire! The reception was sophisticated and contemporary, overflowing with delicate crystal cluster candelabras that created an extravagant and warm ambiance. Maharani Sapna was the sovereign of this affair. Her hands and arms, festooned by Color Me Rouge, were a work of art, and this sought-after beauty team also styled her gorgeous bridal lehengas that showcased the most extraordinary thread work and details! Live music was in charge of NSL Talent's artists, and a three-wheeled motorcycle provided by Pure Luxury Slingshots gave the duo a unique send-off. What an unforgettable union! Irving, TX Indian Wedding by Lomesh Photography

A stunning celebration exuding grandeur and bliss, Aekta and Manish's affair is something you can't miss! The couple invited their loved ones to Irving, Texas, for a multi-day wedding spree that ended in a spectacular ceremony and reception. The magnificent SLPS Community Center was the couple's dream locale. With luxurious ballrooms and ample spaces, it was the best pick to accommodate their numerous guests. When her wedding ceremony day arrived, Maharani Aekta enlisted expert help to prepare her bridal look for her big day. She booked the beauty pros Elegant Saree Draping to achieve the best style and  Ishnae & Co to assist with hair and makeup. At the same time, Mehnaz Ranmal applied a mesmerizing henna design on her. The duo shared their first look before exchanging vows in a traditional Hindu ceremony under a gorgeous rose mandap designed by Divine Decor of Dallas. After the ceremony, newlyweds changed into glamorous night outfits. Aekta slipped into a black one-shoulder blouse with an attached dupatta and a matching lehenga by Aso Palav Surat. While Manish kept it classic, wearing a sophisticated black tie attire. Divine Decor of Dallas delivered fabulous reception decor. Tables were dressed in black linens and decked with high floral centerpieces. At the same time, DJ Riz Entertainment kept everyone on the dance floor and provided an amazing light design that included a lovely monogram with the newlywed's name. Aekta and Manish toasted celebrated with dinner, and had fun taking funny snaps with Luxury Photo Booth Krum! See more of this dreamy and fairytale-like wedding in our full gallery!

Charlotte, NC Indian Wedding by Bhowmik Dave Films & Photography

Good morning ladies! Today we kick off the last month of the year with a beautiful wedding filled with emotions and bliss! Sonal and Karan's nuptials are just what they dreamed of and more. They meticulously planned and organized a lovely series of functions at the Hilton Charlotte Airport. This exclusive location's splendor served as the setting for a Sangeet festivity, a traditional ceremony, and a glamorous reception night. Floral artwork and decor for all events were in charge of Ketan Shah. Her team created every décor detail, from the intricate reception stage drapery to the romantic ceremony mandap that framed the wedding rituals. The talented Bhowmik Dave Films & Photography captured all these unique details. Their camera registered all this grandeur and created an inspiring photo album so our newlyweds can look back at their happy memories whenever they desire! To mark the beginning of a new life chapter in style, Maharani Sona opted for a series of bridal outfits that displayed stunning motifs and exquisite patterns expertly crafted and designed by Ritu SelectsAsian Divas' glam squad created each makeup look to enchant her Raja, while Henna4Happiness by Minaz created the perfect paisleys and figures of her bridal Mehndi. I love that all her styles were classic while still being glamorous! Karan's attires were equally stylish. This groom channeled his inner Maharaja for his ceremony by wearing stunning outfits in rich red hues for his traditional ceremonies and wore an elegant dinner jacket for the reception. I am sure these looks will inspire you, Maharanis! The pair treated their guests to a reception beyond all expectations with an epic dance party and a delicious feast, thanks to Mr Paanwala and Madz Bakery! Want to see more?
