We were still reveling in the gorgeous photos of Puloma and Michael by Mari Harsan Studios when they sent across this spectacular wedding film! Beautifully orchestrated shots, cinematic edits, and a great eye for detail were key elements of this film. We were greeted with lovely shots of Puloma and Michael getting ready, and Mari Harsan Studios offered generous insights into the couple’s ensembles, her trousseau trinkets, and his sparkling mojaris and sehra. We then transitioned to the beautiful Hyatt Regency Reston, which Shagun Weddings decked up in metallics, multiple hues of white, and dashes of red. The traditional mandap featured eight antique gold pillars (four on each side), held together by ornate square walls. Planet DJ Productions planned and executed a joyous Baraat for Michael, who seemed so very elated in a festive white and silver sherwani. Puloma and Michael walked down an aisle adorned with gold drapes, and white and red bouquets. A customary Bengali ceremony was supplemented by delicacies from Indique Catering, headed by the world class chef KN Vinod. Through the course of the wedding, we saw glimpses of a romantic photo shoot of the couple from their reception, which was yet another spectacle! Swapping the cream and gold mandap chairs for a splendid gold lovese at with, and violet drapes with metallic accents replaced the reds, Shagun Weddings made Hyatt Regency Reston reception-ready. From the looks of it, Puloma and Michael had an outfit change during the reception, going from Indian to cocktail. For the dancing galore, Puloma twirled in her lehenga, an orange-pink pairing, and we loved Michael’s Indo-western black Tarun Tahiliani bandhgala. The Beautique by Sapna did a fabulous job making sure Puloma’s hair and makeup worked for both her looks. Puloma slipped into a cream, beaded Gaurav Gupta cocktail dress, while her beau donned a grey suit accessorized with a cutesy floral bow tie. Planet DJ Productions kept the entertainment quotient up with their high-energy beats!
