Woodland Park, NJ Indian Wedding by Jay Seth Photography

High off the previous day's sangeet celebration fun at the One & Only Westmount Country Club, Maharani Neha preps for her big day with the help of KC Makeup by Karuna Chani and her skilled hand. Jay Seth Photography is behind the lens and brings us these magical moments from the most important day of our bride's life. This lucky gal is looking super sweet in her bridal lengha, and I just love the detailed shot of her and her husband-to-be's wedding day footwear which gives us a sneak peak at her mehndi design. While the lovely couple gets their portraits taken, Preeti Exclusive and Elegant Affairs Inc. are behind the scenes making sure everything is bright and beautiful for the ceremony and reception. Head on over to the gallery for more details on this wedding day look.

North Haledon, NJ Indian Wedding by Fotoimpressions

Maharani Ami and her handsome Prince, Rahul are ready to show off their wedding day fashions with us! These amazing portraits of the happy couple by Fotoimpressions will have you saying "Ooh-la-lengha!". Our bride looks like a real life princess as she shows off her traditional red and gold wedding lengha and vibrant dupatta. Her hair and makeup are perfection thanks to SV Bridal Concepts by Sanjana Vaswani. The cream colored reception gown adorned with intricate beading and beautiful appliqué is reminiscent of something more traditional but with a few contemporary touches, and this wedding day starlet dazzles in it. Wedding planner phenomenon Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants is ready to blow you away with what she has tucked up in her sleeves and you won't want to miss the rest of this elegant celebration. These two lovebirds are just itching to make it official and I can't wait to bring you details from their lavish ceremony next. You're sure to be impressed with the look and style of this event, brought to us by the talented folks at Design House Decor. Sneak a peak at the gallery if you're thirsty for more!

The bride on meeting her husband-to-be and realizing he was the one:

" I met Rahul through a mutual friend. I am not the biggest fan of cooking and I knew he was the one when I would always want to go out of my way to make things for him which is not really in my character."

On his proposal:

"Rahul and I took a trip to the Amalfi Coast for my birthday. The little mermaid was my favorite movie as a child so he had a boat that we hired to take us from Positano to Capri. We took a detour and our captain stopped by the Island of the Mermaids where Rahul proposed."

Isn't that just the sweetest?! Remember to stop by later to see these cuties say their "I Do's"!

Sands Point, NY South Indian Wedding by MaxPhoto NY

Ladies, the reception pics from this New York South Indian wedding by MaxPhoto NY and Glamorous Event Planners are to die for! This might just be one of my fave lengha saris ever!! The hot pink and green color scheme along with the intricate beadwork make this get-up sensational! The sweetheart stage, provided by Stylish Events, is fit for a queen which is exactly what Maharani Usha deserves! And Maharaja Sameer is totally having a blast as he's groovin' with the crowd to the sounds of Premier Entertainment! I must relive every moment in the gallery!

From the bride, on her reception makeup:

"For the reception, I wanted mostly pink hues for the makeup and voluminous curls. My wonderful stylist worked with me to make me feel and look my best!"

On the jewelry:

"I knew for the reception I wanted to wear my grandmother's diamond necklace. Fortunately, I was able to find earrings and a tikka to match."

On the cake:

"Our wedding cake was another special part of the wedding. Each layer of the cake was a different flavor such as raspberry mousse/chocolate and pistachio and butter sponge cake. The cake was decorated by the wonderful Stylish Events."

On her fave moment:

"My fondest memory from the wedding is dancing with my husband and living in the moment. We are both physicians in training and don't get to spend much time together. It was so special having our photo shoot, first dance, and just laughing and enjoying with our closest friends and family."

What a special couple! Have a great rest of your week, my luvs!
