The beauty doesn't stop today, dolls! Our Maharani is absolutely picture perfect with fabulous hair and makeup by Kanwal Batool and a bright fuchsia lengha complete with a scarlet train. Love! These portraits by MaxPhoto NY are as gorgeous as it gets and this bride is clearly counting the minutes until her traditional nikkah ceremony begins. It's so fun to see a sneak peek of the venue at Sagamore Resort; the outdoor mandap is a sunshiney treat and inside, the sweetheart stage is a glittering dream. This event is already a smashing success! I'm gonna refill my chai latte and then skip through the gallery!

From the bride: "Choosing the lengha was the most stressful part by far. It was such an important part of the whole wedding, I really put a lot of work into comprising the perfect wedding dress. Of course I initially started off doing hours and days worth of research on the internet. What I found was that I didn't love just one but I really liked parts of a lot of different lenghas. In the end, I decided to work with a designer and create my own unique look. I am proud to say that my lengha is a one-of-a-kind created by me and now, that designer gets orders for that same lengha all the time.

All I have to say here is that Kanwal Batool is amazing. I am very particular when it comes to my hair and make-up but after the make-up trial with Kanwal and having seen her other brides first-hand, I knew I could trust her. Because of Kanwal, the hair and make-up process was actually the most stress-free part of the whole wedding."

Hello there, Maharanis! Today's wedding adventure begins in the Windy City where Maharani Shilpa and Raja Manish are ready to get the party started at their sangeet! Our bride is oh-so radiant with glamorous hair and makeup by Appease Inc. and a violet and white number that is just heavenly. Jay Crihfield Photography captures her every move as she twirls around the room to the beat of A.R. Rehman's best hits. Guests enjoy a night full of dancing, good eats, and yummy cake before the big day and you can see it all over at the gallery!

From the bride, on her engagement story: "During Chicago’s winter, he insisted on going for a drive at the Chicago's Museum Campus, my favorite place in the city. I kept on denying during the weekdays, thinking it will be chilly. On Thursday, January 17th, 2013 we decided to go on a drive to get some fresh air. He played my favorite songs and drove towards the lake. We tried to take a walk, but it was freezing; so we decided to sit in the car while listening to the music that was pleasing. And suddenly he popped the question and I said "Yes!" That’s when he opened the glove compartment and presented me the ring and that’s how it all became official."
