Greetings, my beautiful Maharanis! When it comes to your Indian wedding ceremony, a huge detail that makes it come alive (besides the bride of course) is the mandap! Traditionally, the wedding mandap is decorated using kalashas (pots filed with water), garlands of mango leaves, coconuts, banana leaves, etc. Nowadays, we see more modern-style mandaps, which use fabrics, lights, crystals, flowers & other materials. Vibrant colors & flowing fabrics are all the rage! The more eye-catching the mandap, the better! To help you decide which direction you may want to go on your big day, here is a look at my fave mandaps of 2014!
